IAS Visual ADVANCE! is a full-featured accounting package for small to medium size businesses. Our award-winning package features a highly intuitive interface that is easy to learn and use. Built upon the latest object-oriented framework technology, the package can be easily tailored to meet specific needs.

Full data integrity is paramount, and IAS Visual ADVANCE! provides transaction processing to protect data. A complete audit trail is maintained by capturing all transaction history. In addition, an activity log of all functions that have occurred from the first moment the system is implemented is also maintained.

Modular Design
IAS Visual ADVANCE! is a modular accounting system. You may choose the exact applications to fill your company's needs. Available modules include:

• Accounts Payable: The Accounts Payable module manages all vendor, invoice and disbursement information. Entry of invoices and the generation of checks are extremely easy and efficient. Our exclusive "toggle" feature enables invoices to be paid by simply checking a box.
• Accounts Receivable: The Accounts Receivable module manages all information relative to customer invoices and payments received. Application of cash is extremely efficient. Our exclusive "toggle" feature enables payments to be applied to invoices by a simple mouse click.
• Advanced Financials: The Advanced Financials module extends the financial reporting capabilities of IAS Visual ADVANCE! by adding drill down functionality for onscreen financial reports. Advanced Financials provides tremendous flexibility for defining financial reports. It can be used for anything from a simple one-segment chart of accounts to one with multiple divisions and cost centers. Results may also be transferred to Microsoft Office®.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile all your bank statements with this easy to use module. Bank Reconciliation interfaces with Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Accounts Payable so that you may track the flow of funds in bank accounts.
• Contact Manager: Store all your contacts, schedules, and other vital information for the people you need to reach. This module allows you to log all meetings, phone calls, emails, as well as schedule follow up appointments and action items.
• Data Exchange: The Data Exchange module imports data from any ODBC data source or dbf type file directly into IAS Visual ADVANCE! This includes the ability to convert data from other accounting systems to IAS Visual ADVANCE!
• Foxfire!® Report Writer: Foxfire! is a query and reporting tool for developers and end users of all skill levels. Users can query, report, graph, drill down and perform other data mining tasks from FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, MS SQL Server, Access, Sybase, and Oracle tables. Its managed query environment and quick-report generator allow users to create the most complex queries and reports without technical skill or programming.
• General Ledger: The General Ledger module combines transaction detail from all accounting modules to provide a full snapshot of the company's financial position, as well as a complete audit trail. The module is completely date sensitive. Transactions may be posted to any past, present, or future accounting period.
• Inventory: The Inventory module provides exceptional control, and a clear picture of stock movements and valuation. The Inventory module can accommodate small companies with a single warehouse to large companies with multiple warehouse locations. Bins, alternate item numbers, and serial, lot, standard, average, FIFO and LIFO costing is supported. Bill of Materials and unique pricing features are also available.
• Message Manager: The Message Manager module adds bulk fax and email capabilities that enable Sales Orders, Invoices, Statements, and Purchase Orders to be sent to multiple recipients. The Message Manager module includes Fax Server software enabling faxes to be sent from any desktop on the network.
• Purchase Order: The Purchase Order module provides functions for effectively managing purchases. Items are received into Inventory and costs are compared to original purchase orders for variance control. Accounts Payable invoices are automatically created.
• Sales Order: The Sales Order module effectively manages all phases of the customer order process from quote entry to invoicing and shipping. Customer credit and purchase history are viewable during the sales order creation process, adding valuable tools for your order department. Management reports are available to analyze demand for products.
• System Manager: The System Manager module controls, monitors and integrates the entire IAS Visual ADVANCE! system. The module defines companies, users, and groups. System administrators may set security and group preferences, and have the ability to view all system activity. The Workflow function permits administrators to monitor works in progress as well as the status of assigned tasks.
• Time & Billing: Track time and expenses by employee and generate client bills.
• Work Order Manufacturing: Define bill of materials and track production for customer orders. Reports include item availability and where used information.

Available Configurations
The following versions of IAS Visual ADVANCE! are available:

• Business Edition (BE): IAS Visual ADVANCE! BE is our accounting solution targeted to the small to medium sized business. IAS Visual ADVANCE! BE supports multi-user access with unlimited users in a local area network configuration or across the Internet with Windows Terminal Server™
• Single User Edition (SUE): IAS Visual ADVANCE! SUE has the same feature set as Business Edition but is affordably priced for single user or non-networked configurations.

Flexible Modifications
Companies can purchase source code for all versions of IAS Visual ADVANCE! enabling them to customize the package to accommodate specific accounting needs.

System Requirements
IAS Visual ADVANCE! runs on a PC with a 500-MHz or higher processor clock speed. 128 MB of RAM or higher is recommended for workstations. 256 MB of RAM or higher is recommended for servers. Super VGA (800x600) or higher resolution is recommend. A CD-ROM or DVD drive is required for installation.

IAS Message Manager fax support requires one computer on the network to be dedicated as a fax server. The fax server must contain a fax modem and phone line. Email functionality requires a preconfigured email account for each workstation.

IAS Visual ADVANCE! is compatible with Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and 2003.
