Jump Feature
Access to other programs can be accomplished without interrupting the current program. For example, a user can enter a new customer or access a customer's history while entering an invoice. |
Data Editing and Validation
You may use arrow keys and/or the mouse to select data entry fields for entry or editing. All data is validated before it is stored to the database. Invalid entries are clearly displayed in red. |
SQL Query/Browse Feature
Records in a table can be accessed by displaying a list of available records. The list can be sorted by any column in the browse list and records can be located by entering the first few characters of the search criteria. Certain options feature “multi-select” capability allowing multiple records to be selected at once. |

Browse Maintenance
All system browse pick list properties may be changed without programming. You may visually define the fields to display, the initial order of the browse, and browse column widths.

System Activity Log
All activities performed on the system, including changes to master files, software installation, system option changes, updates, and error conditions are tracked in the System Activity Log. |

Modify Reports/Forms
All IAS Visual ADVANCE!™ reports and forms may be modified by the end user. You may add fields, change fonts, and even add logos or other graphics!

Report Printing
All IAS Visual ADVANCE!™ reports may be printed to a specific printer, network print queue, displayed on the screen, output to a file, faxed, or e-mailed.

Output to PDF or Web Page
IAS Visual ADVANCE!™ now contains the licensed technology to e-mail or save documents and reports inside of IAS Visual ADVANCE!™ in the industry-standard PDF and HTML formats. Preferences can be set by user to determine e-mail attachment format. Adobe Acrobat Writer® is no longer necessary. |
PDF Preview
Adobe Acrobat Reader® (included on IAS Visual ADVANCE!™ CD) can be used to preview IAS Visual ADVANCE!™ reports allowing the user to keep multiple reports open at the same time for as long as necessary without restricting access to inquiry and entry forms. |
Web Page Preview
Microsoft Internet Explorer® can be used to preview IAS Visual ADVANCE!™ reports. This enables the user to keep multiple reports open at the same time for as long as necessary without restricting access to inquiry and entry forms. |
Enhanced Save As
The file output option on reports now includes PDF and HTML formats in addition to ASCII text. |
Selectable System Font
The type size and style may be changed to make viewing screens easier. |
Tip of the Day
